How To

Repairing A Damaged Drone Motor

First, identify the broken part of the motor to repair it. The easiest way to do this is to remove the propeller from the motor shaft. Then, you need to remove any wires connected to the motor and inspect its inner workings. If you see something wrong, then you know what part of the motor you have to fix.

If the motor has not been damaged, it is safe to fly again.

Consider a motor that has become bent and won't turn. You will need to bend it back into shape. For this purpose, you could use a vice grip to hold the motor and bend it back into shape. Once you've done this, make sure to check the motor thoroughly for signs of wear.

Once you are satisfied with everything, mount the propeller on the motor shaft. Reattach the wires. Your drone is now ready to fly!
